Air-Glaciers<\/h6>\n

Air Glaciers operates a helicopter service on the Saanen airfield. It offer flights from here to places that are difficult to access. It serves such destinations as construction sites, forestry, agricultural and mountain huts – quickly and at a reasonable price. In winter, a helicopter flies guests to heli-skiing<\/strong> experiences on snow-covered mountain peaks with magnificent descents. Air Glaciers uses controlled avalanche explosions<\/strong> to ensure safety on the ski slopes. A second helicopter is reserved throughout the day exclusively for rescue flights. Air Glaciers provides a taxi service and sightseeing flights throughout the whole year. Unique views of the mountain world in the heart of the Swiss Alps beckon. Experienced flying instructors<\/strong> are available for training flights taking off from Saanen. Other bases are located in Lauterbrunnen, Gampel, La Chaux-de-Fonds, Leysin and Collombey, whilst the main base is in Sion. Air traffic safety is of the utmost importance to the seven full-time members of staff and numerous freelancers at Air Glaciers Saanen. The skilful and motivated team does everything possible to ensure the satisfaction of customers and visitors.<\/p>\n

Air-Sarina<\/h6>\n

From its base in Saanen, Air Sarina offers aircraft management <\/strong>for private aircraft owners. Aircraft operations include maintenance, administrative jobs, flight preparations and running international flights, along with recruiting an appropriate crew.<\/p>\n

Thanks to its many good relationships with airline companies, Air Sarina can also book charter flights<\/strong>. National and international destinations can be accessed with both fixed-wing aircraft and helicopters.<\/p>\n

Flying instructors<\/strong> are available, if pilots wish to receive training for regularly taking off from and landing at the Saanen airport. Short runways in the mountainous Alpine region present particular challenges to pilots, due to the steep take-off and landing conditions. In the flight school, pilots can learn how to touch down and take off safely on glaciers.<\/p>\n
